Meet Ratchet & Clank. They're the two new heroes of what is undoubtedly going to be one of this year's biggest titles on the PS2. Ratchet is a furry fox-like creature--who just happens to have an affinity for big guns. Clank, a robot, is his sidekick. Together, the two blast their way through what is being described as an action adventure title with an emphasis on guns.
Being developed by Insomniac Games, the team that developed the wildly popular Spyro the Dragon series for Sony, Ratchet & Clank has been kept secret for quite a while now (in fact, preliminary work was started on the game even before Spyro: Year of the Dragon was released in 2000).

The scope of the game is said to be quite large: you'll travel across many worlds, all featuring gorgeous scenery (such as those featured in the early shots we've included so far). We'll deliver more details as they become available.
