ongelmani on että ostin tämän kyseisen laitteen ja se antaa virhettä setupissa:

Setup is unable to detect whether the controller is
connected. This could happen for several reasons.

1.The controller is not connected. Make sure you have
connected the controller to a USB Port on your computer.
-" I'm sure its connected so it might not be this one."-

2.You have connected the controller, but the computer
isn't recognizing it.Try connecting the device to a
different USB Port. -"yritin jo ei auta."- If you've
connected the device to a USB hub, make sure the hub is
connected to your computer and working properly. -"I'm not
sure how to check if the hub is working properly."-

3.You connected the controller but cancelled the Windows
98 hardware wizard(the Windows 98 wizard that displays
whenever you connect a new USB device.) If you cancelled
the Windows 98 hardware wizard, you may need to run the
Sidewinder Setup program again.-"Tried that no results."-

Toimivatko kaikki muut usb-liitännäiset laitteet? Se on ainakin helppo tapa testata toimiiko portit. Ovatko portit toimineet aiemmin?

Minkälainen liitin siinä ohjaimessa on?? USB, USB2.0 vai tavallinen peliohjainliitin?

Jos sulla ei ole koneessa muita USB laitteita tai nekään ei toimi, niin mene BIOSiin. Sinne pääsee painamalla Del-nappia koneen käynnistyksen alussa. Sieltä muuta USB enable, ja tallenna muutokset poistuttaessa.

Mulla on just toi samainen vehje. Sun tarvii vaan pitää kauan sitä johtoo siä koneessa! Kunhan odottelet ja vähän väliä kokeilet ni kyllä se sillä menee. Mulla ainakin luonas..
