Tiedättekö löytyykö mistään päin nettiä PC-ajureita Eyetoyta varten? Sitä olisi kiva käyttää myös web-kamerana.

mulla on eye toy peli.mutta sitä ei saa liitettyä tietokoneeseen koska eye toy ajureita ei ole olemassa. ainakaan en ole koskaan kuullu enkä oo löytäny. lisäksi eye toy kamera on rakennettu ps2 eli se ei toimi pc:llä. Mut jos sen sais toimii olishan se hyväsmile

Eyetoy on tavallinen USB-webbikamera, joka toimisi ajureilla PC:lläkin. Windows tunnistaa sen Logitech Eyetoy webcamiksi, ja siihen syttyy jopa virtavalo. Sony ja/tai Logitech ei kuitenkaan ole mitään ajueita sille tehnyt, miksi, sitä en tiedä frown. Se saattaisi jopa lisätä myyntiä.

Hae Logitechin ajurit. Etsi vaikka Logitechin sivuilta.

Se ei toimi niillä Logitechin perusajureilla. Ois ollu Eyetoyssa potentiaalia vaikka mihin.

"As I saw on many forums, it's completely impossible to use the EyeToy as a Webcam, since it's NOT A WEBCAM."
Although based off Logitec WebCam technology.

"Although it uses the USB, and it can be plugged to any PC USB, Windows only can retrieve his hard information (that's it, the device information that haves every hardware) but it can't know what kind of device is."
Although it installs the audio drivers without a disk, and without problems.

"The only possibility is extract the PS2 BIOS data and, with a lot of luck, extract the EyeToy driver and use it with a PC... and as you can see, it's seems impossible."
Although, if it can be done with PlayStation 2 BIOS rom images, then it can also be done with driver extraction.

"Some teams have anounced already that is impossible. Others say that is possible and they have the EyeToy camera working but not correctly, with black & white resolution and poor quality."
Although some teams are just lazy, other teams have actually made the effort and are getting there, slowly but surely.

Poor quality is a main factor of the EyeToy Camera. The minute sound has to be taken in (Video Messages), the picture quality instantly degrades. Frame rate also goes from somewhere above 50 frames, to a cinema-style 24 frames, without the cheesy soundtrack (Damn!)
