OK, I'm at the part right now where I'm supposed to save Valerie. She's in a half-flooded room with one entrance and one exit that as of yet does not function.

I walk up to the door seperating her room from the room I'm in and it says "Press Use to Open Door". Then I press use, open the door, and run to Valerie. My character says, "Valerie", but then nothing happens. Valerie doesn't talk to me, she doesn't move, it doesn't go to cut scene. She just stands there staring ahead.

There isn't a new objective given, the objective still says "Save Valerie".

What exactly do I have to do? Is this a known bug?

2 monsters should be in the room. After those killed it should load a new map and so on.

The game must have bugged somehow, load a previous save game and try again.. Valerie should be in the room with two monsters, you need to kill the monsters and there will be a cutscene.

If you can read finnish why didnt you write your message on finnish?

Writing and reading is a different thing.

Writing differs from reading quite a bit. As an example I can understand about every bit of German, but writing isn't _that_ easy. Human brains indeed are stupid.

The game's most likely bugged. Either try to load your previous saved game or apply a patch.

If neither works, re-install is recommended.
