What makes you think that? Just a simple "I hate XXXXX" is not sufficient for a decision that he has angst.

Hmm... I thought to up this topic but there was no need after all. I don't know why I wanted to do that, though. I mean, I didn't have anything to say. I guess I'll have to come up with something to make this post a bit more interesting.

Has any of you ever read 'Three Kingdoms'? An older translatio of it is known as 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms'. It tells about the Three Kingdoms period of China, from year 184 AD to year 280 AD and it's written in the 14th century, I think. Many facts have been changed but it's still based on real history. The period itself was full of wars and plotting, and that's what the novel is about too. It is also one of the four classics of Chinese literature, and it's popular in large parts of Asia even today (including China, Japan and a few smaller countries). I can't help recommending the book to anyone who can read English enough. Personally I enjoyed the book very much. I got to know the period through games (such as Dynasty Warriors and later a few others) but the novel is just much better.

Also, after writing about 'Three Kingdoms' a question popped in my mind. Does anyone know a (good) translation of Sun Tzu's 'The Art of War' that uses the pinyin system? I already have a Finnish tranlation but it's using the Wade-Giles system... And I don't really like it too much. I can understand it but it's less convenient. The language should be either English or Finnish, though, as I'm not too good with other languages (though I do speak some Swedish and German).

I agree. Based on the simple fact that those are the two languages which are, well, maybe not the easiest ones to read, but for me they are though. Probably because I grew up watching so many movies, one after another, and thats pretty much what my english skill is based upon mostly. Of course the school has done it´s part. So thats why I always look for the english translation.
