After the MATRIX trilogy we left the machines and humans living in peace.

Humans had the right to return to the real world - although this was not a simple process. As a start, the story of the MATRIX was taught at schools, as part of the history of the planet, so the kids would be accustomed to the idea that they were'nt living a real life. To all adults who wished to escape the MATRIX they were granted the right to take their family with them, while retaining the possibility to enter again at a later time if they wished to.

Basic human structures started to be built for once more on earth's surface with the simple tools the first human settlers had. The official agreement dictated the "non-involvement" for both parties on each other's issues , so humans and machines had what would seem as independent but parallel societies.

Hacking the MATRIX was prohibited by law and the machines declared temselves, although a bit late, living entities of the real world. The re-establishment of the sky had begun but it would need a few hundreds years to completely recover to its initial state. The machines did not stop the production of new humans in their "farms" for a number of reasons - mainly because humans could not ensure the survival of their race due to their small numbers and because they still remained the machines main source of energy, until a new substitute could be planned and its facilities constructed.

It would be expected that the humans would be disturbed of this ongoing situation but on the contrary, embassies of the MATRIX in the real world and religious organisations of humans hyped the MATRIX as the perfect solution for each person and a doorway to an ideal life, and these where only a few of the obvious ways it was promoted...

- The machines, having the "raw honesty" that characterizes them, did not hesitate to show at the schools in the MATRIX the most horrific details of the worst moments in the humans past, in many cases degrading humans for their actions and emphasising on their evil nature.
- When a person decided he wanted to live out of the MATRIX, a council would be held that its only real purpose was to make him change his mind. During this session the people of the surface were among others characterized as newage prehistoric people.
- The propaganda in song lyrics, political statements and every other possible way the majority could be influenced, all supported the idea of participating in the MATRIX, "for the common good".

These advertisements even reached the surface of the planet, to the people that were outside of the MATRIX, with luminous signs and robotic audiovisual appliances. And many were those that decided to remain in the MATRIX for the safety that it provided or even to return back to it because the means of the people in the real world were really meagre.

This fragile balance between the real world and the MATRIX was inevitable not to last for long, like human history has taught us many times before. Revolution was dictated by human nature for the supreme command over the face of the Earth. And rapidly many anti-machine underground groups were formed, which had no relation with the philosophy of the people of Zion.

They did not want simply their independence, they wanted the top sovereignty over the machines, having a fascist perception against them. These organisations were expelled, so much by machines, as most of those people had already left the MATRIX with the worst of terms a long time ago, and by humans and shortly they were isolated in remote and hostile locations far from any trace of civilization.

This was a new race with a growing population and their weird, almost prehistoric, behavior made them known as the Half-humans. They were equally against other people as they were with machines, actually they survived out of making attacks to human villages. Using their primitive means, they wrecked everything in their way.

A new war had now began and the battles will be intense and difficult as Half-humans use cloacking and surprise as their secret weapons.

Siis periaatteessa tuo on Matrix-elokuviin perustuva modi, tapahtumapaikkana Matrix-universumi parikymmentä vuotta elokuvien jälkeen. Eipä näytä olevan paljoakaan mitään konkreettista tarjolla vielä joten ei kannata ainakaan heti innostua.
