Just a few notes for those of you having some troubles with the release. The slowdown that people are seeing on map changes and in big firefights is being worked on as we speak. Several servers have volunteered to test the new server patches, and we'll get those to you as soon as we're satisfied the problem has been fixed.
Many people who run voodoo cards, or in software mode are seeing messages similar to "Cache_TryAlloc: xxx is greater than free hunk". This is due to the large number of textures and sounds in certain maps. What we suggest is upping the amount of memory that is allocated to the game using the "-heapsize XXXXX" command in your shortcut. You can try 48000, or if you have the memory, 64000. Also recommended is turning off High Quality Sounds in the Audio configuration screen.

Also, some people are reporting bugs with missing the file "MSVBVM60.DLL". If this is the case, you downloaded the game from a leaked server, with a bogus file. You'll have to redownload it.
