Joopa, eli mitäs nyt tehään? Peli (Armed and Dangerous) vaatii DirectX 9.0beetä eikä suostu käynnistymään, koska minulla versio 9.0c. En edes muista mistä hemmetisä olen tuon 9.0ceen asentanut ,kun suuri osa peleistä vatii tuota b-versiota. Voi vattu sanon minä cry

Mutta tietäskö joku konstia millä saada 9.0beetä vaativat pelit nyt pelittämään?

Eiks ne muka pelitä?? Ainaskin mulla pelittää kaikki dX 9.0b pelit vaikka mulla on 9.0c

En tiedä muuta kuin sen että Armed and Dangerous valittaa tuosta DirectX 9.0b:n puuttumisesta ja kun pelin omalla tietokone analyysilla tekee system checkin DirectXn kohdalla lukee failed samoin kuin näytöohjaimenkin kohdalla failed. Tämä siis tuon kso. pelin omaa diagnostiikkaa. Muita 9.0b pelejä en ole vielä koittanut.

Juuh, kyllä näkyy ainakin Call of duty pelittävän. Eli taitaa sittenkin itse pelissä olla jotain vialla. Osaisko joku auttaa?

Eikö siinä pelissä tule mukana DirectX 9.0b?

Tulee. Mutta mitäs se auttaa, kun ei vanhempaa versiota voi asentaa uudemman DirectX:sän tilalle. 9.0c---->9.0b ei ainakaan näytä onnistuvan minulta, eikä onnitunut järjestelmän palautuksellakaan.

Se on siinä pelissä se vika, ei directX:ssä.
Koita päivittää se peli jos se auttais.

Q: I am being prompted to install DirectX 9.0b when I try to run Armed and Dangerous. I already have DirectX 9.0c installed!

A: If you already have the latest release version DirectX (9.0c) installed from http://www.microsoft.com/directx but the game continues to request that you update DirectX when you attempt to start the game, please try launching the game as follows:

Place the game CD in the drive and exit the launcher menu when it appears. Next, launch the game using the game.exe file on your harddrive. If you installed the game to the default location:


- Open My Computer
- Open the "C:" local drive
- Open the "Program Files" folder
- Open the "LucasArts" folder
- Open the "Armed and Dangerous" folder
- Open the "Gamedata" folder
- Double-click the "game.exe" file to start the game


You may want to right-click the game.exe file and choose Create Shortcut and then copy this new shortcut to your Windows desktop or Windows Start Menu for the game for easier access.

Eli DirectX päivityksen jälkeen (ei tarvitse tehdä, jos on jo DirectX 9c) hae tuo "game.exe" tiedosto Armed and Dangerous kansiosta ja tee siitä pikakuvake työpöydälle ja käynnistä peli sitä kautta.
